Kangaroo Point
Airbnb cleaning in Kangaroo Point starts at the balcony
Airbnb cleaning in Kangaroo Point is a glass job before it is anything else. Most short stays here face the river, the cliffs or the city skyline, and the photo that sold the booking was taken through a sliding door. If that door has handprints on it, the guest sees them before they see the bed.
The peninsula is a short trip from our New Farm base, over the Story Bridge. We already turn over apartments on Thomas Street, and the rest of Kangaroo Point fits on the same runs.
The housing is a mix. Older walk-up blocks with three flights and no lift sit a street away from newer towers with secure car parks and lifts. The same two-bedroom layout can be a quick job in one and a slow one in the other, so we ask about stairs, lifts and parking before we put a time on it.
Guests come for the river walk into the city, sunset at the cliffs and the climbing and abseiling below them. That means grit tracked in from the cliff paths, sunscreen on the outdoor settings and wet towels over the balcony rail. Balconies, drains and outdoor furniture are part of every turnover, and anything left behind goes in the report.
Every clean ends with a photo report of each room, with notes on damage, breakages, missing items and maintenance faults. A heads up on a cracked pane or a sticking slider comes the same day.
