Airbnb cleaning in Teneriffe

Converted woolstores and riverside apartments a few minutes from our New Farm base, reset between guests and photographed before the next check-in.

Teneriffe

Airbnb cleaning in Teneriffe, among the woolstores

Airbnb cleaning in Teneriffe is a short drive from our door at 164B James Street, New Farm. Teneriffe sits on the river between New Farm and Newstead, and we already turn over apartments on Vernon Terrace, Commercial Road and Beeston Street.

Most Teneriffe short stays are in the old woolstores and the newer blocks built around them. The conversions keep the brick, the timber beams and the tall windows, and guests book them for exactly that. High ceilings and exposed beams collect dust and cobwebs a standard apartment never sees, so ceilings and cornices are on every Teneriffe clean, not every fifth one.

Guests come for the riverwalk, the CityCat, the cafes and restaurants between the woolstores, and the Gasworks precinct just over the line in Newstead. Stays run from a couple on a long weekend to a work trip that lasts the week.

Longer stays leave more behind. A full dishwasher, a full bin, a fridge with half a week of groceries in it. We clear it, reset it, check the dishwasher filter and put fresh milk in the fridge door if that is part of your setup.

Every turnover ends with a photo report of each room, with notes on damage, low stock and anything that needs your call. Heads up the same day, not when the next guest complains.

Local knowledge

What a Teneriffe turnover involves

Converted warehouses clean differently to new builds. These are the parts that take the time.

01

Warehouse ceilings need reach

Beams, ducts and cornices.

Exposed beams, ductwork and high cornices hold dust. We do ceilings, fan blades and AC vents first, with extension tools, before benches and floors, so nothing drops onto a surface we have already wiped.

02

Big windows show everything

Light is half the listing.

Woolstore windows and riverside sliding doors show every fingerprint in the afternoon sun. Glass, sills and blinds are done on every turnover. Balcony furniture is wiped before the balcony floor is swept and mopped.

03

Timber and concrete floors

Hard floors in every room.

Plenty of conversions have original timber boards or polished concrete. We vacuum every floor and mop the hard ones, and any new scratch, water mark or stain goes in the photo report with a picture rather than a guess at a fix.

04

Locked up, with photos

The last five minutes of the clean.

Before we leave, windows and the balcony door are locked, lights tested and off, AC off, front door locked and keys back in the lockbox with the code scrambled. Each step is photographed, so you can see the apartment was left secure.

Timing

How long a Teneriffe clean takes

Typical time on site, from our own turnover records. A 10am checkout and 3pm check-in fits all of them. High ceilings can add a little, and we say so when we quote.

~2 hrs1 bed, 1 bath apartment
~2.5 hrs2 bed, 2 bath apartment
~3.5 hrs3 bed, 2 bath home
~4 hrs4 bed, 2 bath home

Teneriffe cleaning questions

Do you do Airbnb cleaning in Teneriffe?

Yes. We already turn over apartments on Vernon Terrace, Commercial Road and Beeston Street, and our base on James Street in New Farm is a few minutes away. Every Teneriffe turnover covers the full reset of each room and ends with a photo report sent before the next guest checks in.

Do high ceilings make a Teneriffe clean take longer?

A little. Woolstore conversions often have exposed beams, ducts and high cornices that need dusting with extension tools. Ceilings, fan blades and AC vents are on every clean, and if your apartment needs more time than the standard for its bedroom count, we tell you when we quote.

Can you handle a same-day turnover in Teneriffe?

Yes. A 10am checkout and 3pm check-in gives us five hours, and a 2 bed, 2 bath apartment takes about 2.5 hours on site. Regular bookings get their slots locked in ahead, so back-to-back weekends are planned rather than squeezed in.

Do you supply linen and toiletries in Teneriffe?

Yes. We bring laundered linen in and take used sets away on each turnover, and restock toiletries, toilet paper, kitchen basics and bin bags. Anything running low or missing goes in the photo report, so you hear about it before a guest does.
