West End
Airbnb cleaning in West End: two kinds of property
Airbnb cleaning in West End means switching between two very different jobs. We already turn over properties on Duncan Street, and next door in South Brisbane on Montague Road and Cordelia Street, so the area is a regular stop on our run sheet.
The first job is the character home. Workers' cottages and Queenslanders on the streets off Boundary Street, with timber floors, front stairs, verandahs and a backyard. Families and groups book them, which means more beds, more towels and more dishes than an apartment of the same size.
The second is the newer apartment. Blocks along the river bend and towards South Brisbane, with lifts, balconies and views over the water. Quicker to reset, but guests expect hotel standard and the glass shows every mark.
Guests come for Boundary Street's cafes, bars and shops, the riverside paths, and South Bank a short walk away. Some are on a long weekend, some are visiting family, some are in town for a show or a conference across at the cultural precinct.
Whichever it is, the clean ends the same way: a photo report of every room, with damage, breakages and low stock noted, sent before the next guest checks in.
